Hengka (Henry) Ji, a partner from Zhong Lun, attended on invitation the Private Foundation Summit (“PF Summit") and then the 41st Annual Conference on Representing & Managing Tax-Exempt Organizations (“TEO Conference") organized by Georgetown Law in Washington, D.C., US, from April 17 to 19, 2024.
As the only invited private client attorney representative from Asia, Mr. Ji engaged in in-depth discussions with representatives from international organizations, renowned US corporation and family foundations, family offices, and international professional service organizations, mainly focusing on investment and preservation of family wealth, as well as cross-border donations. Additionally, Mr. Ji shared his insights and experience regarding the legal development and dynamics of laws and taxation of charitable organizations in China and the broader Asia region. Mr. Ji’s continuous efforts to promote international cooperation and provide professional services have been widely recognized by industry insiders in attendance.
